RealSims,LLC   is a US Veteran owned Small Business formed in 2002 and is based in Deland Florida. The company was originally  formed under charter to build helicopter simulators under contract with  the US Navy (NAVAIR Orlando Fl). This contract called   for  the company to  consult with NAVAIR engineering personnel for a  new design  of a    small foot print  re-configurable part task trainers to be used for military helicopter pilot training. The result of this co-development effort was a ruggized, modular Flight Training Device (FTD) that could accept interchangeable instrument consoles/panels and ruggedized  flight control options for helicopter and/or fixed wing aircraft. In 2006 the company was awarded a US Utility Patent on its design which it currently markets under the Brand Name "FASTRAC RECONFIGURABLE SIMULATOR".   Over the   years the   company   has provided product and consulting service to  several government prime contractors and the US Military direct. Our client list Includes:  Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, JF Taylor, Northrup Grumman, SAIC the US Naval Post Graduate School, US Naval Academy Annapolis MD, AEGIS Systems, ETC, Black Water, Presidential Airways, AAR Corp as well as many commercial customers from the General Aviation Industry.

Facilities
The company houses its fabrication, manufacturing and state of the art simulator training center in a 12,500 sf facility located on at the Deland Regional Airport in Deland Florida.

Flight Training Services
Advanced Flight training for private, commercial and ATP pilots for turbine rotary and multi engine, IFR, Recurrency, Transition to Turbine and  and Insurance Type Rating. Custom training services to meet PArt 135 Operators standard operational procedures to Law enforcement, off shore, med evac, air search & rescue and the commercial airline industry.

The company recently contracted with Advanced Flight Training Services, LLC  to provide on-site  ffixed and rotor wing flight training  services under  FAA Part 61.  RealSims provides contracted facilities services, aircraft management, maintenance and flight simulator services to AFTS under contract agreement.
